About the BDS Providers Sustainability Challenge Fund

The Business Development Services (BDS) Providers Sustainability Challenge Fund is an initiative of the Youth Entrepreneurship Facility (YEF) – a project being implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The YEF programme has 5 inter-related components – fostering a culture of entrepreneurship among young people, introducing entrepreneurship education, facilitating access to BDS and finance, strengthening youth led organizations and promoting evidence based advocacy. The BDS Providers Sustainability Challenge Fund is targeted at BDS providers in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, and aims at supporting and rewarding outreach, innovation and shared learning in a sustainable BDS provision ‘Model’ for micro, small and medium enterprises owned by young people.
